WOW! Almost another year come & goneWell folks, it has been a troubling year for us all. Changes have been forced upon us all and just when we had things the
way we liked them. The economy is sinking faster than a submarine with a screen door and we are all scrambling for a life
raft. Just hold tight! We will all survive and we will be leaner and meaner when the recession is over. So, how has the recession
impacted your favorite car wash? )Yes, I am talking about Foothill Car Wash.) Bottom line.. many people need to
cut costs, & one of these cuts is washing the car. Understandable, but sad! As a result business is down big time. We
have had to cut personnel who have been with us for many years. We hope to be able to bring these people back when business
improves. As with your families, we have been tightening our belts wherever we can without sacrificing quality. We made equipment
purchases over the last two years that allow us to be very GREEN!!! We reclaim 98% of our water and use only 15-17 gallons
of fresh water per car. Our motors are timed to minimize the use of electricity.. blah blah blah.
On a more personal front: Our manager Louis Hall is recovering from his last Chemo and his Leukemia is in remission, although
we are still looking for a bone marrow donor for him. Thank you all who contributed and to all those who added him to prayer
list and so forth. He is very appreciative of all your kindness. Charity updates: Thanks to your
generosity we raised $2000.00 for the families of each of the fallen firefighters in Station Fire. We raised $140.00 for the
breast cancer foundation and about $250.00 for the American Cancer Society Relay 4 life event. This is still open for contributions.
Just see the link on our home page. As always, we are ever grateful that you have chosen us and we hope
to never fail you. Call us if you need us or drop me a note using the form provided on the site. See you at The CAR WASH. p.s.
